Together, through whatever, wherever, forever….

                                                                A good motto for family and friends.

 

They say blood is thicker than water but it could also be said that true friends stay with you through thick and thin!

 

Our oldest friends go back to our school days, and firm friends are made during our youth.-  Our new friends embellish our lives as we grow older.-  Our special friends our mentors.

 

Some friends we have lost along the way , others we have grown out of – some come back – and the wheel of life keeps turning.

 

I always think it is a pity when family members can’t be friends – particularly between husbands and wives, parents and children.

 

I shudder when I hear of children not getting along with their parents. – So sad – so unnecessary most of the time.

 

Differences  that arise because of  the generation gap – should not be a cause for division or lack of respect.

 

I had a few spats in my day  – but managed to come through OK. –  So I can understand how things happen.

 

Feelings should always be aired and the honest truth about matters  spoken – but the rifts should always be mended .

 

Understanding should always given and forgiveness be – just a matter of course.  – Love unconditional!

 

– A big ask – but always possible – when our arms are open and our grievances forgotten!

 

Our children are the most precious of gifts  of our lives  – and our parents – our treasures !
